HyperVent

Your Selection: $23.99 Per Linear Foot

HyperVent is a densely spun, rigid polymer material that is bonded to a breathable fabric. It provides underfloor ventilation and permits air flow.  This circulation helps to reduce moisture buildup, preventing issues such as dampness, mold and mildew in recreational vehicles and marine environments.

The ¾ inch polymer loops will resist compression, allowing plenty of dry air to circulate between your mattress and a hard surface. The stiff matrix is 95% open, allowing air to freely circulate throughout the material while supporting the weight above. The mat is lightweight and flexible yet rigid enough to hold its shape.

In addition, Hypervent is a practical solution for improving the indoor environment of buildings with suspended timber floors, offering both ventilation and thermal insulation properties.

Description

How HyperVent Works

1) HyperVent improves the sleeping surface by providing space underneath the mattress for warm air to circulate.

2) The circulating air promotes evaporation.

Place a sheet of HyperVent between your mattress and bunk to reduce unwanted moisture. Use a scissors or knife to trim a sheet of HyperVent to fit your application. Then install HyperVent with the loop side down and the cloth side up. It works best when installed on a hard, flat surface. The woven polymer is stiff, but it will not scratch standard surfaces.

HyperVent Features

  • HyperVent is so rigid it can even be used under extremely heavy metallic shipping containers.
  • HyperVent’s ¾ inch polymer loops will not compress.
  • HyperVent allows plenty of dry air to circulate between your mattress and a hard surface

Order Only What You Need

HyperVent is manufactured in 39″ x 50′ rolls and can be cut to any length or can be attached together to create any width.

When you place an order, we cut-off and ship the specific amount you want. If your mattress is wider than 39 inches apply the Hypervent in sections crosswise. For example, if your mattress is 54 x 75, a single 39 inch sheet won’t be wide enough (see right). You’ll have to cut the sheet in two and apply it crosswise. If you don’t know how much to order, measure your mattress then give us a call.

For standard size mattresses, such as Twin and Queen, consult the chart below. Some manufacturers may use slightly different dimensions, so be sure to take your own measurements before ordering.

Tips for Measuring V-Berth

  • 1) Measure the width of your v-berth at the widest point (usually the bottom). This is your first piece.
  • 2) Measure the width of your v-berth at the midpoint (39 inches from the bottom). This is your second piece.
  • 3) Align the pieces as shown in the illustration.
  • 4) Trim the excess material. If the second sheet of Hypervent doesn’t go all the way up, use the excess material for the tip.
