Why soundproof a room using Acoustimax?

Soundproofing a room is essential for clean and crisp audio recordings.

Sound moves in waves. When those waves hit something, they bounce back. If you’re in a room with more than one wall, the sound wave will bounce back and forth. Over and over again.
Using Acoustimax foam can absorb the reflected waves or diffuse them.

Acoustimax or Acoustimax PRO?

The Foam Shop’s Acoustimax Series is available in both the regular, and the PRO lineups. While both foams do a great job of dispersing, deflecting, and absorbing sound, the PRO give a little extra reduction due to it’s higher density. The PRO line also offers a flame retardant, allowing the foam to meet CAL117 fire code to be used as a lining on the walls of your studio.
